This week, the voters of Michigan went to the polls. I’m humbled to share that the people of our 14th Congressional District voted to nominate me for a second term, with over 87% percent backing our campaign versus our two Democratic primary challengers.
We did it! Thanks to you, I’m the Democratic nominee and in a strong position to keep working hard for our community.
In Congress, I’ll continue to focus on jobs and the economy, getting Michiganders back to work and fighting for increased wages. Transportation and infrastructure issues are critical and cannot keep being ignored by congressional leaders. Additionally, progress on education policy is crucial for advancing our community. Our work is far from over, but I’ll continue to work hard to move our nation forward.
I am so thankful to the voters for resoundingly supporting my re-election and for continuing to support my efforts in Congress. I will keep fighting for Michigan every day and I look forward to the upcoming November general election. Thank you so much.
